On behalf of our community of faith, I welcome you and thank you for visiting our website. Whether you are a member of the Saint Helen community or a prospective parent, you will find a wealth of information here.

The community of Saint Helen is continually learning and growing.  We consider our past, present, and future in developing our school vision.  Our passion is to serve and meet the needs of our students and families and to continue evolving according to those needs and the requirements of our students' futures. On behalf of the school, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to those clergies, faculty members, parents, students, organizations, and community members who support the mission of our school.

Yours in Christ,

Mrs. Farah Barrat, MS.ED.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, Christ centered learning environment which embraces and promotes quality education, Gospel values, and Catholic teachings and tradition. The school establishes a strong foundation for life long learning within a culturally diverse community while handing on the faith.

Our Philosophy

St. Helen School strives to educate the whole person in an atmosphere of academic excellence, respect for the individual child, Christian values, and in combination with the family, parish, and community. Catholic education promotes the Christian message of peace, hope, love and justice. St. Helen School demonstrates this through prayer, the celebration of the Eucharist, and the celebration of the sacraments. Being a Catholic community, the school encourages service to others while fostering respect and active involvement in caring for God’s creation.

Our History

Located in Fort Lauderdale Florida, Saint Helen Catholic School has been "Handing on the Faith" since 1973.  We operate under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Miami.
